PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The structural intervention of the Esselunga Shopping Centre of Gignoro was carried out by demolishing the existing buildings of Fila company.
The presence of water table with an almost constant level in time at an altitude of -7.00 m from the ground level bring to the realization, in a preliminary phase, of a continuous bulkhead of reinforced concrete diaphragms, temporarily pulled at the top, in order to ensure their stability during the excavation phase, which was carried out to a depth of about 9.75 m. The foundation slab was made of reinforced concrete and the decks with prefabricated structures.
