Following the disastrous earthquakes of 24 August 2016, 26 October 2016 and specially 30 October 2016, the village of Nocria is severely damaged.
The hamlets of Nocria lower area remain completely isolated. As part of the Framework Agreement of 25 May 2016, the “Nocria” area is identified, approved and delivered to design phase, for the construction of Emergency Housing Solution units (S.A.E) with the condition that a new access road to the S.A.E. area is built in parallel, to connect again the upper area of Nocria village with the settlements in the lower part and to guarantee the connection with the Municipality of Castelsantangelo sul Nera.
