PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The complex of the of the Santa Maria del Fiore Opera Museum, with its initial nucleus formed at the end of the nineteenth century, was created and developed during the twentieth century. The Museum houses one of the largest collections of sacred art in the world, with masterpieces by Michelangelo, Donatello, Lorenzo Ghiberti and Luca della Robbia. In 2002, the Santa Maria del Fiore Opera Museum launched a competition for the expansion of the Museum, inviting four great names coming from the international scene. The winning project was carried out by Prof. Natalini, drawn up with the study Magni & Guicciardini.
