PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The building located on the outskirts of the town of Pistoia was in strong decline both for some structural elements and else for the part of finishing. The design works tried to maintain the same existing structural typology for all main elements, for instance vaults, wooden floors […]. Seismic improvement works are carried out on some walls, modified for a new distribution need. The intervention has achieved high quality performances in terms of energy and functional requalification, adapting the school building abandoned for decades to the new normative and distributive requirements of modern school building.
A small jewel rediscovered and revalued.
